The Design Loft offers a variety of Countertops to suit your kitchen and bathroom projects. We carry selections of Laminate & Quartz surfaces. View our wide variety of countertops.

Laminate countertops.

A kitchen mainstay for quite some time, laminate has improved vastly over the past few years. The latest designs on the market imitate stone, butcher block & other styles of pricier surfaces. Light weight, low maintenance, easy to clean and very affordable are some pros of this countertop choice. Cons include possible staining and scratching, and hot pots or plates will burn the surface. Also, under mount sinks cannot be installed with laminate.

Quartz countertops.

With a wide variety of colours and designs to choose from, this man made engineered stone is one of the most popular contenders for countertops. This material is non-porous so it resists stains and will not harbour bacteria. It is maintenance free and its level of durability means it won’t chip or crack as easily as granite or concrete. The downside to Quartz is it is not as heat resistant as some other materials and cannot always be seamless depending on size of the counter.
